Mianus Village is a microcosm for the places where 70 million Baby Boomers grew up during the 1950s and 1960s.
The book is nostalgic, yes, but also a cautionary tale of what we’ve lost in our materialistic, technological, social media-dominated society.
Mianus Village is not modern poetry by any stretch of the imagination. It reads more like old ballads than modernistic poetry, which is read by only about 12% of the American people.
